BANDENFILM is a production company for film & audiovisual media. We believe in creative and trusting partnerships on equal footing with a constantly expanding network. BANDENFILM works equally with filmmakers of all departments and as producers we want to contribute ensuring that women in key positions are no longer unusual. Our principle is the common vision: BANDENFILM focuses on audience-driven content that we create with a sense of zeitgeist, humor and intellect, exceeding the limits of traditional storytelling regardless of format or genre.
The multi-award-winning feature film THE ORDINARIES, directed by Sophie Linnenbaum, is the debut of the company. Laura Klippel & Britta Strampe were honored for their work at the Munich Film Festival with the New German Cinema Award for the Best Production and with the VGF Young Producer Award, the most important German Film Award for emerging producers.
